As long as I’ve lived I’ve never seen a Robin in person. Just this past week we’ve been blessed with a several Robin.
I was sitting outside and noticed these very pretty birds on the lawn. They would stretch upward showing off their red breast when I would look in their direction..
I didn’t know what kind of birds they were so I asked the fiance´ and he told me..those were Robin birds.
We have several type of birds visiting us like..finch, bluejay, mockingbird, cardinal, kildee, and dove. I am happy to know we are blessed to have so many different types that feel they need to visit me and Miss Gracie loves to watch and talk to them.
They are a sure sign of spring !! I have not seen one in my neck of the woods yet… the birds in are area are sure signing more and more active at the feeders 🙂

Do you know what kind of food they prefer? I have fruit blend currently.

Yes they would like a berry blend. They also like worms. Meal worms, you can get them at some bird stores. Some stores sell dried out ones. (blue birds like those too !)

I love robins too, but I’ve only seen them once while visiting friends overseas. I got very excited.

Too funny, I love Robins! There are tons of them up in my neck of the woods! My mom and I have a contest every year as to who can see the first Robin first. Then we text eachother whoever sees it first….so far I’ve lost every year but one, in all fairness she goes on morning walks prior to going to work and I roll out of bed and rush to work, she’s always been a morning person, I missed that in my genetic makeup I guess. lol
